FATIGUE

Fatigue

Usually, when we feel extremely tired or “fatigued”, we attribute the symptoms to haven not eaten or needing to drink more water. Eating and drinking may eliminate a lesser condition of fatigue, but if you have been involved in an automobile accident, one of the injuries you may have suffered is whiplash and a sure sign that something is wrong is feeling extremely worn out and tired.

fatigue

It is defined as extreme tiredness, typically resulting from “mental or physical exertion or illness“. Fatigue can also be characterized by simply feeling unnaturally tired or chronically exhausted. There can also be an element of psychological depression that accompanies chronic fatigue. Suffering from fatigue is like having a cloud constantly hanging over one’s head. Physical pain in the neck and back can cause a dramatic lifestyle change, causing mental depression, that in turn can lead to feeling chronically fatigued. It can be treated with a program of treatments. The way fatigue is treated is to diagnose the underlying cause of the condition that is causing one’s pain and immobility. If you have suffered whiplash in an auto accident, chances are you are you are not getting the exercise and enjoyment out of life that you had been accustomed to. Adapting to a new and chronically sedentary and pain-filled life can cause depression, which in turn causes fatigue.

Reliving Fatigue

There is a positive and uplifting chain reaction that occurs after a chiropractic treatment by a Chiropractor in Arlington Tx . First is your pain is relieved, either temporarily or permanently but done so in a natural organic way that does not include the psychologically damaging side effects of pain medication drugs. When you are pain-free you are naturally more mobile and active, able to play sports again, burn more calories, exercise and stretch all of your muscles etc., and live a happier and healthier lifestyle. You are naturally no longer always tired as you have “gotten your life back”, the active life you were accustomed to living before you had your accident. Naturally relieving whiplash pain and/or back injury through chiropractic treatment leads to the elimination of fatigue.
